Recollections of India #1

 

This collection of paintings was inspired by the vivid saturated colors of India: the vibrant fabric; the prismatic display of spices; the striking bursts of colors while walking through the pulsating streets; as well as the beauty of the rich muted hues. My paintings exhibit the myriad contrasts that is India: fragile yet unfaltering; chaotic yet rhythmic; and vibrant yet subtle.
